St James Woodmancote is a small but much loved church at the northern end of the Dever benefice.
Surrounded by fields there is a strong connection to farming and the countryside. Our Plough Sunday, Rogation and Harvest Festival services are particularly popular and St James is also host to other well-loved services throughout the year ranging from the peace and comfort of All Souls to the fun of Mothering Sunday, a Pet Service and an always very well attended Carol Service. St James draws its congregation from old and younger families across the parish, as well as those who have left the village but still return to worship there.
