Grant Forrest, CEO
Grant took the helm at the Parish Giving Scheme in June 2021. Previous roles as Head of Business for Lee Abbey Devon, the Christian retreat and conference centre, and The Salvation Army, where he was instrumental in overseeing the successful implementation of its financial systems, have equipped Grant with a blend of experiences ideally suited to lead the continued growth of PGS.
A Yorkshireman with a young family, Grant devotes his technical abilities (he has a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science and a broad experience in the Tech and IT industry), aptitude for people management and his personal faith to serve the Christian mission; growing the Kingdom of God.
Unlike his namesake, Grant is not a Scottish professional golfer, but he does enjoy family holidays in the caravan and outdoor adventures on the moors.
Helen Taylor, Head of Operations
Helen joined the Parish Giving Scheme in June 2013. She came from a Financial Services background specialising in regulatory compliance monitoring. As Head of Operations Helen manages the PGS Team and is responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of the scheme through various effective systems. Her favourite part of the role is managing, coaching and supporting the team.
Helen is a Mum of two grown up children, two dogs and a cat. She has completed five half marathons and a ‘Tough Mudder’, and her favourite type of fitness is ‘Zumba’.
Brendan Harris, Head of ICT
Brendan joined the PGS in 2019 and has held board and senior management level roles in Information, Computing and Digital Technology for a range of national charities, membership organisations and private sector companies over the past 10 years. In his spare time, Brendan enjoys property renovation and rugby.
PGS Comms Team
The communications roles in our team are provided by Target, a PR agency with a great breadth of expertise. Led by CEO Sarah Bryars with support from Associate Director Rachel Meagher, the team at Target works closely with PGS as our integrated Communications Team. From supporting the launch of our new digital giving services, developing communications tools and resources for Dioceses and Parishes, to creating shareable news and content for multiple platforms, Target helps us to communicate with a clear purpose and support the PGS community.
