St. Andrew's, Wheatfield is in the middle of a field which in itself is an uplifting feature, it is a listed Gade 1 building and is featured in Simon Jenkins book "England's Thousand Best Churches". The PCC of Wheatfield has just completed a major restoration programme on budget and on time. Thirteen services are held each year using the Book of Common Prayer and readings from the King James's Bible. Two of the services are held in the evening one of these being Harvest Festival and the other one is the standard Evensong. These services are lit by candlelight, creating a special atmosphere.
