The churches of Broxted, Tilty, Great and Little Easton are each constituent churches of the United Parish of Broxted with Chickney, Tilty, Great and Little Easton. The United Parochial Church Council is registered with the Charity Commission No. 1131525. The parish is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults and we follow the House of Bishops’ guidance and policies. Chickney Church is now a redundant church in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. The parish is colloquially known as The Five Parishes and shares a Priest in Charge with Stebbing, Lindsell, Great and Little Saling, the group being known as The Pilgrim Parishes. The Five Parishes united PCC administers and funds certain aspects for its churches. Regular gifts, whatever size, contribute to this work and are greatly appreciated. An added bonus to us is the optional annual cost of living increase available by donating via PGS.
