Welcome to our parish!
St Mary's is a beautiful church in the village of Tansor with some original Saxon features. It is situated by lovely stretch of the River Nene. Sadly it has a leaking roof and needs other maintenance. We are committed to maintaining the church to benefit the local community and help an historic building to survive. A number of us gather together monthly to know and share God's transforming love with each other, with our local community, and with the wider world. The church is in normal circumstances open on a daily basis.
A regular gift whatever its size contributes to the mission of our church in our community and helps us maintain this beautiful historic church.
The parish of Tansor: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
