St. Mary Magdalen, Stoke Talmage is a thriving village church, with the Harvest Festival and the Carol Service being major events, when the church is beautifully decorated it is packed with people from far and wide. Currently, an additional service for Ash Wednesday is held, and other events take place in the church at the discretion of the PCC. The church is of 13th century foundation with considerable rebuilding in the 18th and 19th centuries and is currently undertaking an exciting restoration programme, with completion due by the end of 2026.
