St Saviour's

Welcome to St Saviour's

This Parish has not as yet registered with the Parish Giving Scheme and as such unfortunately you are not yet able to set up a direct debit or make a one-off gift to this Parish. If you would like to in the future, please 'Register your interest' and we will convey your interest onto the Parish.

Saint Saviour's is the Parish Church for Shotton Colliery. We have been part of the community since 1854, meeting to worship Jesus every week.

The church holds services in Croft House residential care home in Shotton.

Working in partnership with Shotton Community Centre, we provide activities for children and families throughout the year, especially in school holidays.

The parish of Shotton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) . The Diocese of Durham's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor ( DSO) Beth Miller, who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the DSO. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police or your local authority Childrens and Adult Services, or ring 999.

We hope to see you soon
