St Paul's Ramsbottom

Welcome to St Paul's Ramsbottom

This Parish has not as yet registered with the Parish Giving Scheme and as such unfortunately you are not yet able to set up a direct debit or make a one-off gift to this Parish. If you would like to in the future, please 'Register your interest' and we will convey your interest onto the Parish.

Are you thinking of coming to church for the first time, or the first time in a long time, ?

                                                                            You will be very welcome!

'We are situated at the heart of Ramsbottom, and offer a warm welcome'

St Paul's is open for services every Sunday at 11.00am where everyone is most welcome to join us in worship.

There is also a weekly Tuesday morning service of Holy Communion BCP at 10.30am.

Most Saturday mornings we hold a Saturday Café where we serve the best bacon butties and coffee in town. Our church is also open for private prayer and quiet contemplation.

We very much look forward to welcoming friends old and new.

We are ably supported by Rev Ian Fleming and our Deacon Rev Lesley Stear.

For more information on any aspect of our church please feel free to contact the Rev Ian Fleming, our churchwarden, or our Team Administrator on: 07436887760 or email retmchurches@gmail.com

'Church is not an organisation that you join,

it is a family where you belong,

and a home where you are loved,

and a hospital where you find healing...'

St Paul's is part of the Ramsbottom and Edenfield Team Ministry, which is made up of four churches which include St Andrew's, Edenfield and St Philip's. We have a variety of traditions but seek to work together alongside other Christians in our town, to share the 'Good News' of Jesus, and to show his love to all. Whether a visitor to the town, or just wanting to come on occasion, you are very welcome to join us for any of our services and join us for coffee and biscuits afterwards.

"We wouldn't want to claim we haven't room for improvement, but we are trying hard to be the kind of church where people feel "welcome"

The church is led by the PCC which includes the Team Rector and Church Warden. The PCC and Warden are elected by those who have signed up to St Paul's Electoral Roll at the APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) which is held in April.

The parish of Ramsbottom: St John and St Paul is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
