St Michael the Archangel is the parish church in the small town of Alcombe, adjoining Minehead in West Somerset. It is part of the newly formed Grabbist Hill Benefice alongside our sister parishes of Dunster, Timberscombe and Wootton Courtenay. Once this new benefice has completed it's legal transition, the ACNY page will change to reflect that, but for now this remains our parish page.

We are a welcoming and inclusive community of people seeking to work out together what it means to follow Christ in our world today. We believe that this is something to do with knowing that we are God's beloved children, a love revealed in Jesus' life, death and resurrection. This is expressed though us growing in love for God and neighbour and is reflected in how we care for the most vulnerable and the overlooked, both locally and globally, in seeking justice and peace for all, welcome minorities and in how we care for our precious planet and all of God's beautiful creation. By the help of the Spirit, we seek to be faithful to this, acknowledging our fragility and rejoicing in God's grace with love, with peace and with joy.
