Welcome to St. Mary's Church, Long Stratton

Services take place weekly on a Sunday at 11am in the church

St Mary's Church is a special place in a growing town of Long Stratton. The church is a unique Anglo Saxon building with a round tower on the main A140 road from Norwich to Ipswich. It is a home to the rare Sexton's Wheel which you will find as you enter the church building. The Sexton Wheel is found in only one other church in the country and that is at St Mary's Church, Yaxley in Suffolk, only 13 miles further along the A140. St Mary's Church is also famous for its very unique font. It is worth a visit. However, more important, it is a lovely place for worship with a great potential for growth considering the expansion of the town. It is a place where we can share the love of God which he lavishes on us through our Lord and Saviour Jesus. All are welcome.

St. Mary's Church is at Risk!

St. Mary's church is over 700 years old but its future is at risk and it has been placed on the Historic England "At Risk" register with the description "Priority: A - Immediate risk of further rapid deterioration or loss of fabric".
