Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking an interest in the Church of St Martin of Tours, Barholm-with-Stowe.

Our next service in St Martin's Church, Barholm with Stowe will be on Sunday 5th October, at 5pm.

Fr Aran will lead us in a service of Harvest Celebration when we join together listening to scripture,  singing three well known Harvest Hymns...

• Come,  ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest-home!
• To thee, O Lord, our hearts we raise in hymns of adoration,
• We plough the fields and scatter the good seed on the land

You will be warmly welcomed at the door by James and David, given a simple Order of Service booklet to follow.

We will follow Seasonal Scripture Readings from regular members of the congregation, this Harvest Season it's Lizzy Young, Jeremy Flint and finally Oliver Brown telling an interesting Poem ' The Diary of a Church Mouse'.

After which a Harvest Reflection will be given by Fr Aran, Priest of our Seven Villages. 

At the end of the service, we offer all a couple of glasses of wine and light supper.

The Auction of produce, tools, flowers and a few surprises follows!
