St Luke's (West Bolton Team)

St. Luke's church Halliwell provides a relaxed and warm place of worship in a relatively modern building. We make every effort to help all ages feel at home and to be accessible to those for whom English is not their first language.    Through prayer, teaching from the Bible and fellowship we aim to support one another in following Jesus in our daily lives and in reaching out to others.

We currently hold two services on Sunday mornings;  a short service of prayer at 9.30am and our main service at 10.45am, which includes a variety of contemporary songs and traditional hymns.

The church of St Luke is part of the West Bolton team of churches. The parish of West Bolton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.   We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers, PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.
