St John the Evangelist, Dalton. A warm welcome awaits you, in our beautiful Butterfield church, where you will see his polychrome brickwork along with splendid examples of Pre-Raphelite stained glass by William Morris, Burns-Jones and Ford Maddox Brown. 

We consider our church open to all. we are very happy to open the church for people to come and view the architecture and windows.We are also happy for the church to be made available for anyone who might wish to come for a quiet period of reflection or prayer
