St Andrew By the Wardrobe

This Parish has not as yet registered with the Parish Giving Scheme and as such unfortunately you are not yet able to set up a direct debit or make a one-off gift to this Parish. If you would like to in the future, please 'Register your interest' and we will convey your interest onto the Parish.

We are currently closed whilst we undertake Phase 1 of an extensive refurbishment project to upgrade our electrics and install a new and green heating system. Later pahses will see new toilets, a refurbished kitchen, a fully accessible ramp and full redecoration. You can see more about the project on our website:

St Andrew by the-Wardrobe was the last city church rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London. The church has a history going back to the 13th century. In the present St Andrew's is officially designated as the Ward Church for the Ward of Castle Baynard and is also a spiritual focus for many businesses, institutions and individuals both within the parish and beyond. Since its reconstruction after the Blitz and inclusion of a wealth of embellishments, it is now both a homely and atmospheric church. We hold a lunchtime Mass on Mondays at 12.30pm once or twice a month.
