Welcome to St Thomas' Church, Scotton. We are a small rural parish church, built in the Victorian era and consecrated in May 1889 as a chapel of ease for the parish church of Farnham. It was licenced for marriages in 1922.The interior is simple and contains examples of the work of Robert Thompson of Kilburn and an east window by Anne Sutherland. There is a Garden of Rest behind the west wall. St Thomas' is a friendly church, welcoming people of all ages, and we have a close relationship with the Scotton Methodist Church. We currently have a routine of two services a month (a family Village Service on the second Sunday of the month at 10 am and a Holy Communion Service on the fourth Sunday of the month at 9.30 am.
From September 2025, a Messy Church will be held in Scotton Village Hall from 1030 am until 1200 noon on the fourth Sunday of each month (following the Holy Communion Service).
The church is open every Saturday and Sunday from about 9am to dusk (4 pm in winter and 6 pm in summer). Private openings can be arranged through one of the church wardens.
