Welcome to St Andrew's, Rugby's Town Church, a church called to give its very best both in the worship of God and in the service of all God's people in the town. We are a centre of worship, prayer and service.
The church is open every day of the week and you are most welcome to visit us. There is a prayer board and the opportunity to light a candle, or to sit quietly.
Our community cafe, called The Thirteen Bells Cafe, is currently open Monday to Saturday from 10am, usually to about 2pm.
On Sunday, we have services at 8am and 10.30am. At 6pm, there is a rota of evening services including Choral Evensong, an Iona service, and a service of Evening Prayer (this is monthly on Zoom).
The 10.30am Parish Eucharist is live-streamed on https://www.twitch.tv/standrewrugby
There is a Reflective Eucharist on Tuesdays at 9.30am and Wednesdays at midday. Each Wednesday, a reflection is offered on our Facebook page.
We offer a free classical music concert (sometimes folk or jazz) every Tuesday lunchtime at 1pm.
There are a series of community events on Saturday morning, including Sustainable Saturday, Repair Cafe, and Singing Saturdays. See our notices for further details.
Children and young people are most welcome. We have thriving Muddy Church and Godly Play activities as well as a Junior Choir. There are areas of the church set aside where toddlers can relax during services.
The parish of Rugby St Andrew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Coventry's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
