Welcome. The Chapel of Royal Holloway is a place of reflection, prayer, music, and community.

Royal Holloway was founded as an expression of the Founders' commitment to equality, opening the opportunity of university education to women. Freedom of conscience and freedom of religion were writ large in the iconic non-denominational College Chapel and its decoration, and it stands as a visible tribute to their view that religious faith could play a significant part in university education.

The Chaplaincy aims to support Students and Staff in building supportive communities of faith, where fundamental questions can be explored and a deep personal search for meaning is encouraged.

We are here to offer support to the whole university community. Whatever you believe, whatever your background, whoever you love, whatever your struggles or doubts, and wherever in the world you are, we want to hear from you.

The Chapel and Multifaith Chaplaincy operates under the safeguarding policy of Royal Holloway, University of London.
