The parish of North Shoebury: St Mary the Virgin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. About us

As you will read elsewhere, this church building has been on this site since 1254.  But there was a Christian presence before then.  We have served North Shoebury for this long.  In that time much has changed, and continues to change.
