St John the Baptist, or St John's as we're often known, is the parish church in Meols.

We're part of Chester Diocese in the Church of England. We are passionate about connecting with people in our community and sharing the love of Jesus in all we do. Jesus said "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs."

The current vision for growth at St John's began seven years ago one aspect of that vision was to see families and children flourish in the Church. We wanted new families to feel welcome and considers becoming part of our church family.

So…. We let everyone know the party line!

We put up notices that say -"Don't worry if your little ones make a noise or run up and down and people turn to look. They look because they heard them, not because they disapprove." St John's welcomes children as Jesus did.
