Christians have been meeting on the site of St Bart's for almost 800 years. It's been a long and varied journey with ups and downs, but throughout, Jesus Christ has been a sure and constant foundation.
Today we're a diverse and growing community grounded in the apostolic teachings recorded in the Bible. We're passionate about reaching out to those around us with the good news of Jesus and passing on this good news to generations to come.
We know we're not the finished product but we hope you'll come and join us on our journey, as we sit under God's Word and seek to live out our love for God and His world.
Thanks for finding your way to us!
As a church family, we’re passionate about encountering God together and being transformed by Him to serve one another, our friends and families, and the wider world. We’d love you to join us.
The parish of St Bartholomew's Edgbaston is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Birmingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
