Sunday 28th September is the15th Sunday after Trinity, when we celebrate Harvest Sundaay with a service of Holy Communion at St George, Easton-in-Gordano at 10.30 am followed by a bring and share lunch in the Church Hall.  To celebrate God's goodness we encourage the congregation to bring gifts of food, in the form of tinned goods or dried food and toiletries, which will be blessed during the service and donated to the Community of the Sisters of the Church in Ashley Road, Bristol who distribute food parcels to the homeless and needy. Do please join us and bring some lovely food to share as we join together for lunch.

Lord of the Harvest, thank you for your generosity to us. For all the good things that you have given to us. From the plants that grow, to the foods we eat, and those who sit alongside us. Help us to share what we have, being generous to others as you are generous to us.

Thank you for the harvest. Your mercy endures forever.
