Welcome to the "A Church Near You" homepage of Christ Church Heaton.

At Christ Church we offer a very warm Christian welcome to everyone; without exception.

Whoever you are, wherever you are on your journey of faith or even if you are just curious about God, we are here to help you. We have a range of services that we hope cater for all ages and traditions.

We hold Sung and Said Eucharist (Holy Communion) and Choral Evensong services from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) using rich traditional language and liturgy that has been passed down to us through the centuries.

On Wednesday and Sunday mornings we also have Holy Communion services from Common Worship, a contemporary service that uses more modern language.

In addition to our regular weekly services we do offer other services, for example;

*        Have you thought about getting married at Christ Church Heaton?

*        Have you thought about having your children Christened here?

*        Have you thought about being Confirmed?

If you have any questions our Vicar, Rev David Thompson, will be very happy to talk to you about any of the above.

In more normal times we have also hosted occasional concerts and put on a very popular annual play which draws quite a crowd for sell-out performances.

Our welcome to you is warm and genuine, so do come and join us. Come and see your parish church, meet your fellow parishioners and make yourself at home.

With every blessing to you and your time in Heaton.
