Located deep in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, we have both a long and fascinating history, and an exciting and unusual present and future life too. Brampton Abbotts church is committed to reaching out to people of all ages and backgrounds to inspire them to explore faith Our beautiful church building has Norman origins and has evolved over subsequent centuries, including a renovation by the renowned church architect G F Bodley in 1857 and WD Carole in 1907-1908. Following the closure of the church building in 2008, an extensive programme of renovations was put in place and recently completed. In 2020 planning permission was agreed to incorporate within the building a bakery/cafe with associated community activities. Each year, six church services and six community events will be held within the church itself, with further services held in the nearby Village Hall and at Brampton Abbotts School. We really are a church “on the move” and operating within all parts of the community. Every regular gift, whatever the amount, is very gratefully received and contributes to the mission of the church in the community.
