St Gregory’s is believed to have been built on the site of an Anglo-Saxon pagan temple. The acoustic in the church is excellent and it is in demand now once or twice a year for concerts. Its scale and stillness make it the perfect setting for monthly Taizé worship. The chancel has important 19th century stone memorials and the churchyard and burial ground are well kept. The parish of Rendlesham: St Gregory is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Safeguarding Officer(s).
