The Parish of Witney is made up of four churches, some large and some small, serving the town of Witney and the villages round about: St Mary the Virgin, Witney Holy Trinity Witney St John the Evangelist, Hailey and St John the Baptist, Curbridge

We are an inclusive church embracing a hospitable Christianity.

Our central desire is to grow deeper in God. We have four key pillars of our common life together: the Eucharist and Daily Office, which sustain all that we are, and Inclusivity and Hospitality, which shape all that we do.

We believe the church is called to be a community of mercy and kindness.

Any financial contributions are both hugely appreciated and gratefully received. All donations are treated anonymously, and clergy do not have access to any donor information. They are paid into our parish account to help meet the costs of all our churches.

St Mary's is one of six Church of England churches in the Benefice of Witney. This ancient house of prayer has been a place of hospitality for over 750 years and stands at the end of Church Green. We are the main Anglican and civic church for the town. 

We are inclusive and pride ourselves on being a warm welcoming and friendly community embracing a hospitable Christianity.  The heart of our life is our worship. We treasure the Eucharist and Daily Office. Environmental matters are important to us.
